The German Federal Institute of Metrology (PTB) is testing cpX.Energy

| minute read

As confirmed in a test report, the PTB ran a functional test of the automatic substitute value generation of the cpX.Energy module .GDM as part of an extended test.

Last year, the .GDM module was already tested for its suitability as an EDM system in compliance with the calibration law as part of a gas quality reconstruction process (REKO) in accordance with PTB-A 7.64(E). However, this test did not account for the automatic generation of substitute values. The scope of testing has now been extended so that system operators of systems for gas quality reconstruction (REKO) do not have to perform individual tests for the automatic substitute value generation.

So far, the cpX.Energy .GDM module is the only EDM system with automatic substitute value generation, which is required for the approval of gas quality reconstruction (REKO), that has undergone this testing process.

PTB is the National Metrology Institute of Germany with scientific and technical service tasks. PTB measures with the highest accuracy and reliability – metrology as the core competence. PTB stands for progress and reliability in metrology for the benefit of society, trade and industry, and science.
