The company VNG Handel & Vertrieb has taken a major step in its digital transformation: The successful integration of IT processes in balancing group management (GaBi Gas) into the cloud-based platform cpX.Energy. This integration marks an important milestone, as VNG has now transferred all processes to the platform in addition to contract billing.
The overnight migration went smoothly and efficiently, despite the challenge of a maximum downtime of just a few hours. The necessary interfaces for imports and exports could then be activated.
With the use of increased scaling and parallelisation of cloud resources, the specified performance benchmarks were achieved for the important aggregation of allocation and forecast data.
Since the conclusion of the transition, the platform modules .BCM, .Sales, .MACO and the integration tool .APM are available to VNG Handel & Vertrieb.
