After more than two years of intensive preparation, the Germany-wide gas market area Trading Hub Europe will officially, on schedule and successfully start its daily operations on 01 Oct 2021 at 06:00 am. The consolidation of the German gas market, which began in 2006 with 19 market areas, has thus been finished.
In the smooth implementation of the ambitious schedule of the Market area consolidation of NetConnect Germany and the GASPOOL Balancing Services area consolidation of NetConnect Germany and the GASPOOL Balancing Services to Trading Hub Europe Sopra Steria played an active role. The German market area managers and Sopra Steria are thus continuing their long-standing successful cooperation.
Sopra Steria supports the market area manager with consulting, software solutions and services in the handling of time-critical allocation processes, balancing, billing of balancing groups, grid accounts and control energy. In addition, the display and input of process data is enabled via the Trading Hub Europe customer portal.
