The .Sales module models and calculates the products and supply contracts for redistributors, municipal utilities, power plant operators and industrial customers, while the .Billing module handles the billing and invoice creation of energy supplies. Invoices are sent to customers electronically and displayed in the customer portal with the associated data.
The invoice verification of incoming grid usage invoices (INVOIC) from system operators in VNG's supply areas is implemented as an automatic process. Numerous interfaces from upstream and downstream systems are orchestrated in the .APM integration tool and integrate the platform into the overall VNG process.
Following the go-live of the billing processes, the supplier switching processes (GeLi) will be set up in the .MACO module, our cloud solution for market communication processes. With the scalable platform solution based on a SaaS model, VNG is also well prepared for the ongoing transformation to green gases (hydrogen, biogas).
