In Germany, the VAT rate will be reduced from 19 % to 16 % and the reduced VAT rate from 7 % to 5 % as of 1 July 2020. This reduction will also affect companies in the energy sector. System operators, traders and market area managers who use the GAS-X/ENER-GX software suites with their market role-specific modules are faced with the challenge of implementing VAT adjustments in their systems on time.
