With the establishment of the entire specialized process chain for remote meter reading (RMR) of metering data and technical energy quantity determination, Gelsenwasser Energienetze is on the home stretch of onboarding to the cpX.Energy platform of Sopra Steria.
The complete remote meter reading procedure includes all grid interconnection points to upstream system operators, as well as grid connection points to end consumers and several biogas plants with gas quality measurement. Furthermore, the cloud platform maps the automated processing of gas quality data from all upstream grid operators via standard market communication (MSCONS) for the distribution system operator. Extensive automation of hourly retrievals and automated substitute value generation according to G 685 completes the new meter data management of Gelsenwasser AG in cpX.Energy.
