Now that the VSE AG has opted to use Sopra Steria’s cpX.Energy platform, the agilely organised onboarding of business customers for electricity, gas, and services to the platform can start.
Energy billing and the integration of market communication (GPKE and GeLi Gas) will be transferred to the cloud system. The platform will be connected to the VSE's extended business processes via corresponding standardised services. Thanks to a usage-based pricing model, platform fees are billed on a monthly basis.
With the platform integration of service processes, Sopra Steria is helping the VSE AG, as a leading infrastructure and energy service provider in its region, to focus on its core business.
The VSE AG supplies, among others, large industrial and commercial customers as well as municipal utilities and distributors with electricity and gas. Shareholders of the Saarbrücken-based company are the German energy supplier E.ON, the German federal state of Saarland, districts as well as cities and municipalities in the federal state of Saarland.
