After just under a year, Sopra Steria successfully completed another GAS-X project with Gasunie in June this year. With the TSO processes after physical gas transport already implemented in the MANGAT project, marketing and handling for the border point Oude Statenzijl at the Dutch border have now been set up with GAS-X Grid. The border point is expected to be operated as an active VIP by February 2020. Successfully marketing and handling H and L gas in Oude marks the last milestone of the project. The scope of the implementation also included all requirements for connecting the VIPs Lubmin2 and Deutschneudorf, which will become relevant when Nord Stream 2/EUGAL is completed. Gasunie is thus excellently prepared for the future.
This project was the first pure system integration project of Gasunie and Sopra Steria using agile Scrum methodology.
