Extension of remote meter reading for auditors

| minute read

The remote meter reading of the cpX.Energy platform supports the technical quantity determination by enabling the reading of DSfG-stations and the subsequent fully automatic remote meter reading of hourly data. Comprehensive tools for evaluating master data are provided for analyzing problem cases and also to support the work of the auditors.

In order to provide auditors with all the means to analyze and remotely maintain the measuring devices, the functionalities of the gas measurement technology are being expanded with the following extensions:

  • New monitoring functions and ad-hoc retrieval of instantaneous values
  • Full text search for names or values of data elements
  • Favorites for grouped view of current values
  • Start a call-up to update the selected instantaneous values
  • Cyclical tracking of instantaneous values and MRG parameters with notification when values change, e.g. for automatic monitoring of cylinder fill levels of external test gas
  • Qmin monitoring for DSfG and MRG (recording of sub-hourly meter readings and comparison with the meter master data in a log)
  • Separate master data area for auditors (sandbox for testing and verifying measures at gas metering stations, without influencing billing master data)
  • Support for the PGC-processes "internal calibration" and "test gas run":
    • Manual start and evaluation of internal calibrations of process gas chromatographs
    • Automatic and manual start, as well as evaluation of external test gas runs of process gas chromatographs
  • Live analysis of instantaneous values (monitoring of instantaneous values, e.g. meter readings or switching states with updates every second)
