Sopra Steria maps the entire 24/7 marketing process of the natural gas storage facility: from capacity and contract management, the management of customer accounts and storage characteristics, through operational nomination and congestion management, the matching process with participating network operators and the necessary market communication to commercial contract billing for storage usage.
For the technical AS4 communication, the platform is connected to the SaaS solution VICOS from our partner Virtimo.
Enovos Storage GmbH is the owner and operator of the "Frankenthal" gas storage facility, the largest underground gas storage facility in Rhineland-Palatinate. The Frankenthal storage facility is an aquifer storage facility that is geologically located in the northern Upper Rhine Valley Graben and provides access to the Trading Hub Europe (THE) market area and is connected to the Creos gas network.
The total usable storage volume is 90 million standard cubic metres.
