E.ON Energy Germany has completed the transition for contract and billing management of complex energy delivery contracts in the energy supply company and large customer segment to the cpX.Energy platform operated by Sopra Steria.
The cloud-based platform offers a comprehensive end-2-end solution portfolio for E.ON Energy Germany. The service-oriented solution includes all functions for carrying out supplier processes in the business customer segment (B2B / SME). With cpX.Energy, process mapping is possible for both complex individual and very standardised contracts for commodity and non-commodity products.
Bundling the functionalities on the cloud platform reduces the number of regular cost-intensive process interfaces and standard IT processes.
As new customers, transactions and contracts are added, the platform's technical processes and resources are scaled automatically.
