Gas Storage Denmark operates two gas storage facilities in Denmark. The company has charged Sopra Steria with the implementation of a new gas storage management system in the cpX.Energy cloud platform.
The Software as a Service solution will cover a wide range of processes, including capacity marketing, commercial dispatching, market communication and billing. By relying on the new cloud platform, Gas Storage Denmark will be able to offer new, tailor-made products to its customers in addition to established products. At the same time, the storage operator need no longer worry about hosting high-availability processes in an on-premises setting.
Sopra Steria operates and develops cpX.Energy as a SaaS solution for energy shippers, grid operators and storage operators.
