Starting with the 2020 annual auction, German TSO Gascade will offer transmission capacities managed in GAS-X Grid for the German-Polish border point Mallnow on the Hungarian RBP platform, rather than the PRISMA platform. With the move, Gascade is complying with a decision by the European regulatory agency ACER.
As a first step, GAS-X Grid now supports all basic capacity marketing, booking and auction tasks related to the RBP platform. Starting in autumn, GAS-X Grid will also support booking returns and secondary marketing via the platform.
As a result of the new requirements from ACER, GAS-X Grid now offers integration with all European capacity marketing platforms and takes a further step towards internationalisation.
