Since the beginning of 2022, the German energy and gas supplier VSE AG has been using our cpX.Energy platform for billing its industrial customer contracts in the electricity and gas divisions. The integration of the platform solution into the system landscape of VSE enables a high degree of automation and the acceleration of many important process steps.
Customer-specific contract logics with associated price constructs and raw data imports were moved to the platform. The system is thus able to calculate invoice positions dynamically on the basis of automatically incoming consumption data and the stored price formulas.
The possibilities of product modeling and the reusability of product components in different contract situations play a central role and standardise the mapping of contracts. These modeling capabilities also significantly simplify the mapping of future products.
